This common living area received a gothic blend of old world furnishings,
velvet and lace window treatments, faux painted golden walls with a darker
color on nook walls, and lots of wrought-iron decor.
One of the main focal points in this room was a theatre-style media center. From another entry into the room, the bay window was another focal point.
Storage space was provided using some dual-purpose furniture, which included the trunk coffee table, the sideboard table, and a special built-in skirted shelf for a cat corner.
